In his first professional match, Christian Pulisic scored the only goal of the game as AC Milan took their Serie A debut against Napoli at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
The German midfielder was one of three goals from the bench that allowed the Rossoneri to secure a 2-1 win and move into third place in the table.
Pulisic, who has been playing for Bayern Munich since he was 18, made his Serie A debut with AC Milan on Saturday and scored his first goal since joining the club in 2016.
"I'm very happy,Primeira Liga Hotspots" said Pulisic after the match. "It's always a big step forward and I feel good about it."
The victory over Napoli marks a significant step up for Pulisic, who had been limited to just two appearances for Bayern Munich this season due to injury.
"AC Milan is a team that can play at any level, so it's important to be able to perform well here," said Pulisic. "I think we have a great opportunity to win games like this and I'm looking forward to doing that."
