Denzel Dumfries has made the switch from Serie A side Juventus to Inter Milan. The 25-year-old forward will join his new club in January after having been loaned out to Sampdoria last season.

Dumfries was born and raised in Scotland before joining the Juve academy at the age of six. He made his senior debut for the club in 2017 and went on to make over 80 appearances for them across all competitions.

However, he struggled for game time under Maurizio Sarri and was eventually loaned out to Sampdoria where he scored three goals in eight games. Inter have already signed several other players this summer including former Liverpool striker Lautaro Martinez, so it's likely that Dumfries will be used as part of their squad rotation.

The move is a significant one for Inter,Football Base Camp who are currently third in the Serie A table but have struggled to score goals recently. Dumfries' arrival could provide some much-needed firepower up front and could help Inter challenge for the title come the end of the season.

It remains to be seen whether Dumfries can replicate his form with Inter or if he struggles to adapt to life in Italy. However, it's clear that the Scottish international is excited about the prospect of playing for such a prestigious club and we're sure he'll give everything he's got to succeed there.
